This is very cool! I like the subtle differences in lyrics and melody and the intro is quite bad ass. Bob Dylan is such a genius, really.

Is “Hurricane” an incredible piece of poetry put to music? Absolutely. Does Dylan take poetic license with his lyrics portraying Carter not only as a patsy/choir boy while misrepresenting Carter’s documented ranking & potential as a top contender? Yes. he does. I happen to love songs that state opinions or story tell in a literary style as opposed to a simple lyrical one & this is no exception. At a volatile time that demanded change, Dylan played fast & loose with his words & that is a fact.

Bob Dylan doesn’t sing this song anymore because he did a big mistake. Hurricane was guilty as hell, he did kill and was sent to a jail till the end of his live. Something he had never did. Yes he did it, he killed the man.This is the reason I prefer to sing a song about Jonathan Pollard, since I don’t have to prove he is innocent.
